Description
SWR pipe full form is Soil, Waste and Rainwater. It is an important drainage pipe used in residential, commercial and industrial buildings to remove soil discharge, wastewater and rainwater safely from the building. In plumbing systems, SWR pipes connect toilet lines, bathroom drains, kitchen waste lines, floor traps, rainwater downpipes and terrace drainage to the main drainage or sewerage system.
uPVC SWR pipes are widely used because they are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, easy to install and suitable for long-term drainage applications. These pipes work in a gravity-based, non-pressure drainage system where water and waste flow downward through proper slope. SWR pipes are commonly available in Type A and Type B options. Type A is generally used for rainwater and light drainage, while Type B is preferred for soil discharge, waste discharge and heavy-duty drainage lines.
Duke Pipes manufactures uPVC SWR pipes as per IS 13592:2013 in common sizes such as 75mm, 90mm and 110mm, with matching fittings for complete drainage systems.
